Our Team

Amelia was born in Kailua, Hawaii and raised on Florida’s East Coast. From a young age, she participated in many different sports and activities with soccer being her favorite. Another one of her favorite after school activities was being able to play flute in her high school marching band. After school Amelia always went to her local gym where her passion for exercise grew. After high school, she attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and received her bachelor’s degree in applied Physiology and Kinesiology. College is where she learned about the physical therapy profession and learned how she could help heal with movement. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in the beautiful St. Augustine, Florida. Amelia enjoys getting to treat a wide variety of patients and enjoys getting to make connections with so many people in her local community. Amelia started as a Physical Therapist at Advantage PT in 2023.

Outside of the clinic, Amelia has a small family including her partner John, their black cat Gio, and yellow lab Remy. Her favorite activities include shopping, relaxing at home, reading, taking her dog on adventures, and anything involving the outdoors. The PNW is a big shift from sunny Florida, but Amelia is excited to explore the area and get to experience season changes.
