Sukanya Pyne
(DPT, PT, Sammamish Clinic Director)
Originally from Kenya, Sukanya brings over 25 years of diverse clinical experience to her practice. Her journey in healthcare began at the College of St. Catherine in Minnesota, followed by her physical therapy training at Washington University in St. Louis. She also holds a Master’s in Public Health from Northwestern University, a degree she puts to heart through her dedicated non-profit work.
Having practiced in both Illinois and Washington, Sukanya moved to the Pacific Northwest over 12 years ago. She specializes in Movement System Impairments, focusing her care on the shoulders, ankles, knees, and hips. By combining her certifications in ASTYM and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) with a deep analysis of movement mechanics, she creates personalized treatment plans centered entirely on her patients’ unique goals.
If you are a runner looking to optimize your performance or recover from injury, be sure to ask her about a comprehensive runner’s assessment.
Outside the clinic, Sukanya is an avid traveler and cook who loves dancing, hiking the beautiful PNW trails, and spending quality time with her children.
